Chimamanda Adichie Recounts How People Blamed Her For Her Parents’ Death Because She Refused This

Writer Chimamanda Adichie has recounted how people blamed her for her parents’ deaths because she refused to say ‘trans women are women’ but that wasn’t the case.

Chimamanda Adichie speaking about what led to her writing a specific essay said it was after her nephew called her to tell her about how she’s been accused on social media of the death of her parents because she refused to say trans women are women.

According to her, those blaming her for the death of her parents were saying it’s good and punishment for her as well because of her stance refusing to say trans women are women, which technically led to her parent’s death.

We believe that wasn’t the case because saying trans women aren’t women doesn’t in any way contribute to the death of someone but those blaming Chimamanda Adichie believe it’s her stance about trans women that led to the death of her parents.
