Spouse of ex-Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin seeks legal separation after her better half was accused of George Floyd
Kellie Chauvin, the spouse of ex-Minneapolis cop, Derek Chauvin, has petitioned for legal separation after her significant other was captured and accused of homicide of George Floyd.
Lawyers for Kellie Chauvin affirmed on Friday night that she is looking for the “disintegration of her marriage” to Chauvin.
“Tonight, I talked with Kellie Chauvin and her family. She is crushed by Mr. Floyd’s passing and her most extreme compassion lies with his family, with his friends and family and with each and every individual who is lamenting this catastrophe.
She has petitioned for disintegration of her union with Derek Chauvin,” the Sekula Law Office said in an announcement Friday night. “While Ms. Chauvin has no kids from her present marriage, she consciously demands that her kids, her senior guardians, and her more distant family be given wellbeing and security during this troublesome time.”
Chauvin was captured and accused of third-degree murder and homicide regarding Floyd’s demise, which has incited across the country fights that have turned savage in a few refers to.
